WHEN IS THE 2023 VERITEX BANK CHAMPIONSHIP?
The 2023 Veritex Bank Championship will take place April 10 – 16, 2023 at Texas Rangers Golf Course in Arlington, TX.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN I SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER?
Volunteer Registration will open in early fall. The registration link will be posted here at that time.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY TO VOLUNTEER AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All volunteers will incur a $65 fee when they register. This cost helps offset the costs of the Volunteer package and allow our tournament charities to benefit as much as possible. The volunteer package fee includes a polo, headwear, bag, credential, lapel pin, credential, tickets, food and beverage, parking and shuttles, invitation to the appreciation party, and the opportunity for a free round of golf at Texas Rangers Golf Club. IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO VOLUNTEER?
Yes, all volunteers must be 13 years of age by April 10, 2023, to volunteer for the Veritex Bank Championship. There is a Junior Volunteer Package priced at $32.50 for those aged 13 – 17 years old. This package includes t-shirt, headwear, bag, credential, lapel pin, credential, tickets, food and beverage, parking and shuttles, and invitation to the appreciation party. IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER?
Yes, each volunteer must be able to work a minimum of two (2) six-hour shifts. Volunteers who work between 18 – 36 hours will have the opportunity to play a complimentary round of golf at Texas Rangers Golf Club. Volunteers who work over 36 hours will receive an opportunity to play two (2) complimentary rounds of golf.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE?
For a registration to be complete, all volunteers must complete all information in the system and pay for their volunteer package. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from [email protected]
HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER WITH A FRIEND OR SPOUSE?
During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to indicate if you would like to volunteer with someone else. Please be sure to select the same committee preferences, shift availability, and indicate their first and last name in the area provided. You should register on the same day to ensure you are assigned to the same committee. We are unable to guarantee the same shifts/committees if a committee has been filled.
WHEN AND HOW WILL I KNOW MY COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT?
During registration, volunteers are able to select their top three (3) committee choices. We will do our best to assign each volunteer to one of their choices on a first come, first-serve basis. If you only select one committee and that committee has been filled, the Volunteer Chair will place you on a committee that has the greatest need. Once assigned, your Committee Chair(s) will contact you.
WHEN AND HOW WILL I KNOW MY SHIFT ASSIGNMENTS?
During the registration process, you will be required to select your availability. We will schedule based on your availability entered and the minimum shift requirements for your selected committee. Please note, this is not your final schedule. Your final schedule will be determined by your Committee Chair and will be released as we get closer to the tournament.
Individual committee-related inquires, including questions regarding your assignments and schedule, should be directed to your Committee Chairs. You may log into your account at any time to contact your Chairs, check your schedule, and update your availability.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY UNIFORM AND CREDENTIAL?
*NEW THIS YEAR* There will be a Volunteer Uniform Distribution and Appreciation Party March 31 to kick-off the 2023 Veritex Bank Championship. Specific information will be sent directly to registered and confirmed volunteers.
IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND UNIFORM PICK UP DAY, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
If you are unable to pick up your uniform on the assigned day, please contact Amanda Kolb at [email protected] for an alternate date.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR WHEN VOLUNTEERING?
Volunteers for the Veritex Bank Championship should wear the official volunteer uniform polo, official volunteer headwear, and credential. We ask that volunteers wear gray or khaki shorts, pants, or skirts, and comfortable, close-toed shoes. No jeans or sandals are allowed.
CAN I WATCH GOLF WHEN NOT ASSIGNED TO WORK?
Yes! Your volunteer credential will serve as your ticket for the entire week. We ask that you not wear your uniform when not working, so please bring a change of clothes if you plan to spectate before or after your assigned shift.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS AND/OR ASK FOR AUTOGRAPHS?
When you are not working or wearing your Volunteer uniform you may follow the PGA TOUR’s camera policy which allows use of personal cameras/cell phone cameras during practice rounds and Pro-Am days only. Cameras/cell phone cameras are NOT permitted during competition rounds. You may ask for an autograph only after the player’s round is complete.
IF I AM UNABLE TO VOLUNTEER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you are no longer able to volunteer, please contact your Committee Chair. If you are not assigned to a committee, please contact Amanda Kolb at [email protected] or (469-458-0806). It is imperative that you notify the appropriate individuals of cancellation so they can plan accordingly. We depend on volunteers and are so grateful for those that help make this tournament a success for the community and charities.
HOW CAN I REQUEST A REFUND?
Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Amanda Kolb at [email protected] or (469-458-0806) to discuss refund options if you are no longer able to volunteer.
